ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹಳೆಯಂಗಡಿ ಬಳಿಯಿರುವ ಟಾರ್ಪೋಡೋಸ್ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಟಾರ್ಪೋಡೋಸ್ ಸ್ಪೋಟ್ಸ್ ಕ್ವಿಜ್ ೨೦೧೯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿದೆ.ಟಾರ್ಪೋಡೋಸ್ ಸ್ಪೋಟ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿದ್ದು , ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸಚಿವ ಅಭಯಚಂದ್ರ ಜೈನ್ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ .ಇನ್ನು ದೀಪಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಖ್ಯಾತ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟು ದ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಅವರ ನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಗೌತಮ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಗೌತಮ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರ ಕೆಲಸ ಮೆಚ್ಚುವಂತದ್ದು ಅಮತ ಹೇಳಿದ್ರು . ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕ್ವಿಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಅನ್ನೋದನ್ನು ಜನ ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದ್ರೆ ಇದೀಗ ಫಿಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಅನ್ನೋ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾಜ ಬದಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಯುವಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಷಮತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಇಂಥಹ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ .ಅಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಅಂತ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ .ಇನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರಿಢಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕ್ವಿಜ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ.ಕ ಮತ್ತು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ೩೭ ವಿವಿಧ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸುಮಾರು ೧೦೦ ಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು . ಇನ್ನು ಕ್ವಿಜ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮುಂಬಯಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕ್ವಿಜ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ರಂಜನ್ ನಾಗರಕಟ್ಟೆ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ .ಇನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ನಾಗಭೂಷನ್ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಮಾಜಿ ಮನಪಾ ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಕುಳಾಯಿ, ಟಾರ್ಪೋಡೋಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಗೌತಮ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ಮಿಂಟನ್ ಕೋಚ್ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಖಾರ್ವಿ , ಟಾರ್ಪೋಡೋಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಕೆ.ಪಿ ಸತೀಶ್ ,ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಪಡುಕೋಣೆ, ಭ್ಯಾಗರಾಜ್ , ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ಕುಳಾಯಿ, ದೀಪಕ್ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾನ್ , ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ , ಸಂಪತ್ , ಚರಣ್ , ನವನೀತ್ , ತೇಜಸ್ಸ್ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

TORPEDOES SPORTS QUIZ-2019: Conducted Sports quiz on the occasion of national sports day at Torpedoes sports club, Haleangadi. Quiz master Mr Ranjan Nagarkatte had arrived from Mumbai...good motivational speaker, trainer, sports historian and Vivid sports lover. Total of 37 school teams participated in the sports quiz... Was inaugurated by Former sports minister of Karnataka. A total of 10 teams were selected from 37 teams to the semis and four teams entered the finals. Two teams got selected to finals directly from written round as they were the highest in written round.
